Picked it up yesterday 650mile round trip! All because I wanted a specific colour, heres pictures of my new one, on the trailer, and my old one in the drive way. Any thoughts?

If you like that you'd love the back, every wheel was tied down with rope, we had a chain on the front, and two tow ropes on the rear, that puppy was going nowhere! Felt a bit strange looking in the rear view to see that so close!

LET THE WORK COMMENCE!

Looks nice. What colour is it...? Is it that really dark Oak Green colour...? If it is, that's tops! Lovely and classy.

If not... sorry!

Yes it in malacite green, real dark. No offence but its the only colour I'd have hence travelling for 11 hrs just to pick it up. Knackered. I say project cause it needs a TLC, rust taking care of, and respray, get it to look something like my old one and then carry on, dark hellas, darken rears, just a moody looking but classy motor. Keep you all up to date as and when, it aint hitting road until Im happy.

Thanks for the comments guys. :P

Was in Preston last weekend... Girlfriend went to Uni there... we were seeing some of her old friends. Went onto the Marina bit where the retail park is... quite nice.

Gazza is based round the Manchester area... quite a few from over there.

There's a northern meet at the Ferrybridge Services later in March... check the meets section!

Looking good Swindy.

But just to be controversial ... not a huge fan of Malachite Green.

Like Giles said there's a few of us from the NW. I'm near Oldham (NE corner of Manchester) and there's the meet at Ferrybridge at the end of March.

nice one, well thanks for the feedback, and I know the Bimmer wont be ready for end of March, my sprayer is comming down next week to weigh the job up, see what and when he can do it. As for not liking the colour, each to thier own, it was either this or silver, I like dolphin grey but there are loads of them!!!!

Either way cheers boys, quite lonely up here then! I make friends when the national meet?
