hi could you please help me with this question. Can you legally drive with 9x16 Borbet A deep dish alloys on an e30 ?? question being, my mate got pulled by the fuzz for having these wheels on his VW Vento ? they said the wheels were to wide and not street legal ? does anyone have these on their e30 ?? Many thanks.

im running 9x16 borbet b all round i have passed an m.o.t with these on so technically its legal :D here a picture of mine with the phat rims, enjoy

well they passed an m.o.t so they must be ok :D , A fellow zoner had the breytons zayyan and paid me the money i was after :cool:

I meant borderline as in any wider and it'd fail!

Re the Breyton kit, that much I know, is it a secret? :roll: :(

i am running 7.5 16 borbett A's and they sit in the arches the very same as the pic above - they are the et20 ones (offset of 20)

i got them of this guy (just state you wany et20 and not et35 as they will rub against struts etc if they are not the correct offseet - you may even find if you are unlucky that you have to lslightly "roll " the rear arches"

no mate not a secret at all, i just dont want to take his thunder before they are sprayed and installed as im sure you understand... sorry mate dont mean to comne accross as a snide, just dont wanna hick-up or give much away..... thats up to the buyer. :P

fireblade... yes buddy they sit flush with the arches... offset is et15 and ive use 10mm spacers at the front to avoid the front struts... hope this helps matey

Nothing to get away with. If they sit flush or inside the arch then no problems its only if the stick out that you have a problem

as long as the tyre tred is under the arch thrn its legal, that how the streched look came about !!!
