Hi
Have been offered a diff from an e30 that is supposedly an LSD. Looks a bit different to the casing in my early e30.
Part number I have been quoted is 1 210 421 and I have no idea if it is preceeded by an S.
Can anyone shed some light if it is an LSD or if it is in fact for an e30
A.

That part number doesn't come up on the Catalogue, are you sure it's right? There are big case and small case diffs so it could look different.

Were the big case and small case used in the e30, or was the big case from another series?

Big case diffs were used in the 325's and some 318is's and small case diff's in the rest.
