Hi guys

I just thought I would share these pics with you, I had a custom manifold made up to take some e36 m3 throttle bodies to an m20 head, basically an expensive process but I am looking into the feasibility of using it to get some more cast.

I hope the use of the throttle bodies with save me hassle as the came with the fuel rail, injectors, linkages, and fittings for the aux air valve. The hole lot has cost about Ԛ£1000.00

Holy crap!

That adaptor looks amasing!

How big are the TBs though?

I did some for mine at 40mm which I reckon is a bit on the large side to be honest. Supposedly 40mm TBs are good for around 50bhp/cylinder running N/A which would make for 300bhp on an M20, and that might be pushing it a bit without some serious mods!

Hi

I am have got a m20 with a 2.7 bottom end, the head was ported previouslty the cam is schrik but I am not sure of the duration, currenly runningon tipple 45's. Planing a rebuild to 3.0 at the auto sport show i spoke to the guys who supply the pistons to metric mechanic so need a m3 3.0 crank & rods, also i have sourced some after market steel rocker arms. I did have a emerald ecu but speakign to dave walker it turnsout it is an early one and can only do 4cyl so i may go to VEMS unit Kronenburgh.
