The metal elbow that pushes into the inlet manifold is loose on my 325i Touring. I've sealed it with PTFE tape for now and it has cured the 'Kangaroo Effect'
Is there a better long-term solution?
Idle control valve to inlet manifold elbow - ok to use PTFE?

It's not a rubber hose - it's the metal elbow that the rubber hose attatches to that then pushes into the inlet manifold, the elbow to manifold connection is loose...

I had the same issue on mine.
- I used blue gasket paste and it worked well.
