Alright guys,
Gettin a bit excited now about converting my 318i. Its looking a lot closer to actually happening!
Either gonna convert to a 2.5 or 2.7. given the fact that there might be a few other mods, who'd you suggest would be a good insurance company to go for?
Adrian Flux gave me a decent quote for a 2.5, saying that they insured the car on the engine regardless of whether its a conversion. but have not asked bout the 2.7?
Here are my basic details;
23
Live in London
will have 4 yrs NC by April
claimed back in Nov 2001 (wrote car off and been shafted by insurers since)
will do less than 5000m a year
So who'd you suggest?
Cheers!
best insurer for a conversion?

Most insurance companies treat a conversion that way - I've been with Direct Choice for a while now but never used them for a converted car. They were very good when I had my much-modded 200SXNIX wrote:Adrian Flux gave me a decent quote for a 2.5, saying that they insured the car on the engine regardless of whether its a conversion. but have not asked bout the 2.7?

I always use Flux or HIC. I've found the 2 of them to be the best over the years
