with that engine spec and a monster turbo, its certainly got more than enough power Ben.
Fastest.... not with e30 gearing , should be mucho rapido though

Hmmm. Sureley a E46 M3 would take that and i cant believe there is no other BMW in the Country that can match that. I'm sure your car can too if you turned up the boost
I'm not doubting the fact that it's fast. I'm merley questioning the claim been made cause it's quiet a big one

Each to their own at the end of the day, but i'd rather borrow an extra Ԛ£3k and have the redish E30 with the M3 running gear that was at Doni. Reliable power and also a very good looking car. Ho well

agree about reliability. weighing up that asking price think it might be worth the money considering the work one into it, even the bodywork looks pretty good too.

Having spoken to Ant and Sal before about the possibility of having a turbo before, i'm sure that car is worth the asking price if the work has been done properly. Still 18 psi is quite hight when you consider Ant was running a much lower boost when i went in his car and theta thing was still rapid

i still find it hard to belive with 18 psi a 2.7 m20 makes over 400hp,
an alpina bi-turbo makes that on 18psi from 3.5 m30!!

i had both the cat's removed, and a straight through exhaust, so i guess it could have been a little over 400bhp.
i'd love to have met him on a lonely dual-carriageway though

A few US based turbos are seeing 300-320+rwhp on 15-18psi, so it's not far out but it would need to be a big turbo and intercooler to run that all day without melting stuff. Good mapping too, be good to get a spec sheet for sure.Kos wrote:i still find it hard to belive with 18 psi a 2.7 m20 makes over 400hp,

No pics of the engine bay tho, considering it's the main selling point, why no pics???
