HELP ! Reversing light switch

Can anyone tell me where to find the reversing light switch, ive got the jacked up on the drive and I cant find it, is it near the bell housing end or the gear shift rod end. Please help it b dark soon !

if you remove the gearlever boot from the console and pull out the sound wadding, you should be able to trace the wires to the indicated location

Well this will probably be to late but the switch is on the passenger side of the geasr box near the top. I think it is located in line with the gear change linkage that goes into the gear box.

As the other guy said the cable comes up through the car infront of the gear shift, so you can check the contacts here.

Thanks to all above, Ive done the mother. As you say passenger side, easy to do 19 mm bolt. Just needed a tourch to see it tucked up there out the way, I wont have to put me back foglights on to reverse into the garage now !
