1. My headlining is quite scruffy (might just steam clean) so I'm just wondering how easy is it to change headlinings without making a complete pigs ear of it?
If its difficult I'll just clean and repair mine in situ.

2. I have just bought a new (to me) steel sun roof, whihc I want to change for mine which has started to rust around the edges. Does any one know how to do this?? It's an eleccy roof.

Cheers

To change headlining properly, you have to remove the rear screen and the windscreen, as the fabric is lipped over the metal edges under the rubbers. Might be able to avoid this at the front if you have an electric roof with the seperate type front section, and the rear screen problem doesn't occur with Tourings.
Sun roof - Slide roof partly back, pull down liner at the front to unclip about six clips. Push liner towards back of the car, out if the way.
Move roof to tilt position, and from inside, looking outwards, you will see three torx bolts each side. Remove these and lift out panel.
I recently noticed a bubble on one of my sunroofs as well. An inspection of the other five roof panels that I have, showed that four of them were also badly rusted. Anyone ever bought a new one, and what did it cost?

Cheers Mate,
Will just clean and care for lining then!
Sunroof sounds simple enough, I'll do it when I get it.
You have 5 sunroofs???
Got mine off Ebay for Ԛ£23, I thought that was good considering it's the right colour and in good nic. Would cost me that to get another one sprayed.
