i would go for the red one, but looks can be decieveing, look at as many as possible, even if you know they ain't what you want, that way at least you can spot troubled cars and hoine your spotting skills as well as getting a better feel for them on test drives to help you reconise a good car when one comes along

The black one is good but make sure you find out where the engine rebuild was done and get someone who knows the engines to look at the invoice.

Red one is also nice but more money.

Black one looks stunning on those wheels.

black one looks a bit rough... For that money you'd want it to be very nice... I'd personally go for the red one... it looks sweet, although the airbag steering wheel is a bit dodgy!

Hi all

Need a little advice. I am going to look at a M3 on Saturday, are there any things I need to look for, over and above the normal things to check that is.

Its 1989 on a G on Pistonheads up for Ԛ£10500

Any information appreciated.

Cheers

Slarty

The black one! The black one!! Those wheels look amazing. I'd want to explore its history first. IS there an issue with the condition of the seats? If so, get some quotes for a retrim, a valuable negotiation tool.

I agree that the black one looks stunning on those wheels.

But then again I'm biased, as I have a set in my lounge that have just come back from mirror polishing :D :D not sure if I'll ever get round to fitting them though...
