They only came standard on the evo 2 and the cecotto/ravaglia, you can get copies from a million and one places but the quality of them is usually crap.

Markus does them i think www.e30shop.de

So the chin spoiler is Ԛ£199.75 from C3 & the fitting kit is Ԛ£15.86

But C3 are doing a deal if you buy them together for Ԛ£218.93

That's Ԛ£3.32 more expensive than if you buy them separately!

That's a deal worth doing!

Really? I use them regular, and I always price up with my local dealer who I also get a discount with, and C3 are always cheaper, excellent example is the electric fan I recently bought, BMW wanted a touch over Ԛ£200, and this did not include the resistor, C3 charged me Ԛ£170 complete with resistor.

Again, a full set of ignition leads from BMW Ԛ£190, C3 Ԛ£140

Thermostat from BMW Ԛ£80 C3 Ԛ£60

Evo lip spoiler is Ԛ£240 from BMW BTW

I've had nothing but good service from the guys at C3, so someone should defend them, as we only hear the bad things on forums.

Evo I also wore the front lip spoiler.

The same applies for me. I have used them lots of times and they have saved me a packet. For example I bought a new caliper for my coupe for about Ԛ£125. Dealer wanted over Ԛ£300.

Si,

Evertime i have gone to my dealer for bits i keep in mind what C3 sells them at and they are always more. Not all things but on most BMW will be less, plus you dont have to pay postage costs.

You like them, so use them.

If it's just fitting kits, small parts, then yes, dealer is going to be cheaper, but I've bought a lot of large or expensive items from C3, and always work out cheaper.

If the price differences were small, then I would go straight to the dealer, as I'm good friends with the parts manager there (even though he's a VW fan!), but in my experiences, the price difference is big!

Last year, I bought quite a large order from C3, total was Ԛ£591, I actually took the receipt to my mate, and he tried to beat the price, but couldn't get anywhere near them, total from the dealer would have been Ԛ£720.

Give them a go, they are all genuine parts, the guys from C3 go over to Germany to collect their parts, and prices are obviously much cheaper over there.
Another bonus to using C3 is they are very knowledgable when it comes to the M3, one of the guys there has his own E30 M3, and it still has BMW warranty on it!

Well the only things ive been buying are gaskets, brackets, timing chain parts inc tensioner, ignition parts, rubber hoses, fuel lines (as the S14 uses 8mm ones not 7mm) thermostat, elecric fan switch, new clutch, seals, belts and washers (im sure there are other bits) but BMW was cheaper.

But there are times when i have looked to see C3 cheaper, for example a few weeks ago i got a mate some Offset control arm bushes BMW charged me Ԛ£58 inc vat C3 are doing them for Ԛ£51, but then the rear eccentric trailing arm bushes from BMW are Ԛ£22 for two and C3 are Ԛ£46, so some things can be got from BMW others from C3.

I do all my own work so i dont really need to ask them for any help, dont feel comfortable just ringing them up for a chat about how to wire in a electric fan to work from the switch.

Totally agree with Simon , used them for years without a problem ! . I've popped into my local dealer in Kings Lynn for the odd bit only for them to cock it up or tell me they cant get it (most recent was two under dash clips !) quick call to Kirby at C3 and it arrives next day .

I'n some cases they may be very slightly off price but I know if I need a part and they say its `in the post then it is and will be correct .

Regards Steve .
