well as i am sure you may all no driving a sport you get a lot of attention and again i bet i am not the only one but i always get complaments and get asked to sell etc, i am kida used to it now!..BUT today was scary!
i was working on my mates van a decided to go and get a mc donalds, as usall i had to wait in a car parking space for my food as i allways have a plain ham burger! so i parked next to a merc unawear of any1 in it till i herd...OY M8 WANNA SELL YOUR MOTOR?? i turned and saw 3 asians in this merc and replied no i havent had it long lol
then he stated sayin how much you pay etc..
any way they left the car park...well so i thought..i got my food and started to drive out the car park when i happend to notice they had sumhow got behind me in there car so i drove up to the motorway junction with them following which was in the oppsite direction to my m8s house and went right around the juction back on my self and they still followed.
i started to slowley speed up,and so did they, so i nailed it round all thease roads, with them on my tail, and mannaged to loose them by turning right realy sharply and shooting off back on myself!
any way they wanted summit and by fuck i wernt going to give it to them!
was quite worried i must say,my sport is my pride and joy and at only 19 my biggest investment!
so no way were they havin it!
not seen them since...BUT if i do..

I had a very very similar experience the day I picked up my E30, I bought it from a guy in Tamworth and drove it back home to Manchester the same day (30th March 2004).
I was on the M56 about 20 miles from home when I noticed I was getting tailed by 4 asian guys in a golf, they pulled alongside after a few miles and started waving and gesturing that they wanted a fight. I made the mistake of giving them the finger and sped off. They managed to keep up (it was a 320 at the time  ) and I missed my turning ending up on the M60 in the wrong direction.
They kept following me and I ended up in an unfamiliar part of Manc, they were even driving on the wrong side of the road around islands and roundabouts and on the pavments trying to ram me off the road. This was on a tuesday afternoon in traffic !

Eventually I skipped a red light and did a handbrake turn into a road that turned out to be a crescent so I sped off again and headed back to the motorway leaving them stuck at the lights.

By the time I got home I was shaking like a leaf and felt like I was going to throw up. It still gives me the shakes when I think about it, hence the number of edits on this post !.

I couldn't stop at a cop shop as the tax disc was out of date by several months and didn't want the aggro had they spotted it.

I've never seen the bastards since.

Cheers,

Iain T

thats bad, i know reading it's, good nite life but keep your head down. Theres some very shady folks live there!

I know not all brown people are bad but Zayyan there are places in Reading white people don't go. Could be a baddie from one of these areas!

Let's not start a race row though, as no one is perfect

Try and keep a low profile, never poss in a sport in all honesty. Just lower it and chrome alloys!

Scary stuff mate, don't go back to the McD's for a while! Hopefully they're not locals.

I got chased by an ST24 once, thought I had a one way ticket to the hospital, goddamn the roads seemed extremely busy that night.

Christ, wouldn't like that to happen! The police station idea sounds like the best. Iv had people asking if they could buy my car but never went that far. Hope that you dont see them again. Maglite sounds like a good idea.

have to be careful, loads of lunatics out there on our roads, and as for CCTV probably a waste of time as when its comes to things like giving out footage, most companies are wankers unless something serious happens on their premises.
