what is the most BHP form 325i engine

does any one know what would be the best way of squezing the most bhp out of 325 lump, shreck cams?,port and pollished?,or would it be more cost effective to swap with a big bhp engine any advice would be good

It depends on your budget mate.
Heres some stuff you can do.
Stroke your 2.5 liter engine to 2.7 liter
Turbo charge it
Engine swap m30,m52,s50
You might struggle to get a "Shreck" to fit under the bonnet !

i was running a cossie turbo and other parts and was getting over 350bhp sorry actully closer to 400 but decided it was to dangerous to drive it and sold it for parts .................j

if it were me a port and polish is the route i would go.....on an exchange basis should not be too expensive.....unless an m3 engine came up

How about throttle bodies and a mappable ecu for some nice clean normally aspirated power 
Or combine them all and make a turbocharged throttle bodied ECU'd car.
Just gotta wait for my 'head to come back from the machine shop so I can measure it up for TBs if you're interested
