Im after a Full timing chain kit (if possible everything I would need for the job) for my E90 318d

VIN: A911395

11317797899 - Ive found this part number but not sure if its correct for a full kit?

Hello

That is not the part number for a kit, there is a kit but it only suits certain scenarios.

Has the chain broken? How far are you going to go with the chains? Just the top chain or all three?

Hi Jon,

No its more of a preventative measure as its on 163k and I have no history of it ever being replaced.

Basically its an engine out job so everything I can replace in terms of timing ( Chains, tensioners, sprockets, bolts etc) while im there I would like to do.

What kind of scenarios do the kits suit?

THe chain kit only suits a noisy top chain scenario, it is a split chaon and needs crimping together with special tools.

If you are taking the engine out I would go for a standard chain and all the guides, sprocket etc.
