With great sadness this post is to make people aware that one of our founder members and well respected long serving admin/moderator of the Zone passed away 2 adays ago.

I’ll miss our chats at lunchtime,
About cars, and nothing much at all,
Those moments on the phone with you,
Laughing, no matter big or small.

We’d drive our E30s in convoy,
Heading to a show, side by side,
I’d try to keep up with your H27,
But we both knew it was never going to happen.

At the shows, we’d laugh and joke,
You with your Werther’s on the dash,
You would always help anyone,
With parts in your stash.

It’s been a journey, what a ride,
And I’m so glad you were there

Really sad news. Condolences to the family.
I never met the man but like many others benifitted from his posts and bought a dashmat from him.
