My M54 has until recently been great, but the throttle has started to hunt slightly. If I am driving along at a constant speed, foot not moving on the accelerator, the engine will go up and down, only very slightly, but very noticably. It doesn't really do it at idle, but does if I take my foot of the clutch while driving. It still has plenty of power and it doesn't do this when accelerating.
I must admit that I am yet to get the OBD socket working, so that is on my list of things to do, but I am wondering if the above is a sign of something obvious that I can look into straight away?
Cheers

My first thought was that is might be a leak somewhere. I had a quick look at the intake but didn't look that hard. I will investigate further, thanks.
