Rear seat options

I need a rear leather seat for my 1990 4 door what are my options from other cars that will fit as I can't justify second hand prices for a leather rear seat, I would really like to convert it to 2 back seats like the convertible style
This is a difficult one, to be honest standard E30 rear bench is one of the cheaper options. The 2-seat option like the cab was only fitted to the M3 and is moon money now even for the replicas and far more than a standard E30 bench.
Some people have used E24 6-series seats which were individual but they are too long and need a lot of cutting (either seat or bulkhead) and it will be a lot of work and money to not look like a mess. They are not the cheapest option either.
Some have used E46 seats in E30 but not sure the backs have been used. A lot can be squeezed in a 2-door but not so easy on a 4-door. Anything not E30 will be some work.
If it helps I have a full E46 Sport black leather interior that will soon be taking up needed space. Not sure if it is any use but it could be had for a couple of beer tokens.
