My idle is a bit low (600) and its sometimes cutting out on the down shift 4th to 2nd .
It seems to happen on when at operating temp . Cars a m20b25 with lightened flywheel.
I have tested the blue sensor 4.36 kohms cold at both ecu and sensor and .375 kohms hot at sensor and ecu .
I don't seem to have and air leaks and the icv is nice and free.
I was unsure how to test tps (see pic )

Anyone help ?

Hi Shed. that TPS looks like the item fitted to a switchable ZF auto ... although testing is the same.
Listen for a microswitch click as you gently open the throttle butterfly by hand. Maybe necessary to measure continuity to be sure the ECU is receiving the TPS signals.

Pin 1-black wire-5volt in
Pin 2-shielded wire-ground
Pin 3-yellow wire-signal out
Pin 4-ground
Pin 5-WOT switch
Pin 6-Closed switch

If you look down past the pins with a torch you can see the pin numbers at the base of the pins.
