Hi
So I needed to replace a rocker gasket - upon removing the rocker cover I discovered that one of the pipes from it was split - no.4 on this diag:

I think that's what's commonly referred to as the rocker cover breather? I've ordered a new one anyway.
However, during the wriggle to get the rocker cover off I also dislodged this pipe, which comes up from below the inlet and through the brace that these early M20's have:
Is this what's called the crankcase breather pipe? Struggling to find it on realOEM. It has c-1 287 670.1 printed on it. Peeking under the inlet manifold I think I can see the pipe end it's supposed to connect to (no. 12 in this picture maybe? https://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/showpa ... Id=11_0129 ... or does that pipe always go straight up into the bottom of the inlet manifold? ).
Basically, I'm trying to figure if there's anything else I need for refitting - does it just push on to the pipe end I can see, or would it require a jublilee or anything (doesn't appear to have been one there before).
Also, if that's the case, does anyone have any tips for getting it back onto that pipe - it's a really awkward space, but I'm hoping I don't have to take the inlet manifold off just to relocate it! Is there better access from beneath?
