I changed my spark plugs and my car developed an issue the tick o er is very low when first starting and dies, so I changed my plugs back but still same issue.
I turned the idle screw up but that only seams to matter when it's warm, my accelerator cable is quite sloppy so I will change that but whats is the other other cable
My car is 1.8 auto
Cold stall lumpy idle

Changing spark plugs will have next to zero effect on idle RPMS. What's probably happened is you've unintentionally messsd up a HT lead so it's probably running on 3 cyls instead of 4. If not you've disturbed something and possiblity created a vacuum leak leading to a weak mixture.

I can't have mixed them up as I did one at a time, I am going to order new ht leads as I don't know how old they are and I may have damaged one taking them off, I don't think I have damaged them as when I pull them off one at a time the engine drops to three cylinders, but maybe it's not getting as much spark if that's a thing
.
I have read it's possible the coolant sensor but I can't find it

I'm still going for vacuum leak. I didn't mean messed up firing order, simply broken the contact inside.

If it was working fine before you changed the spark plugs and it isn't now, you've obviously disturbed or upset something in the process

Where would a leak need to looked for I have looked at maf that all seems, but I do have a spare electrical connector not plugged In To anything but it never was so that can't be an issue
