What's everyone's experience of replacing the front wheel bearings on these turds ?
I recently refurbished the whole rear undercarriage from the fuel tank back including wheel bearings down to the nuts and bolts, but I now have the front ones to do.
Seeing lots of posts where once the hub nut is removed, the whole hub just pulls right off woth no trouble. But others say the inner race gets stuck
What tool do I need guys? Any 3 jaw puller do the job? Or is it necessary
Cheers

It can get stuck but rarely too tight, it can usually be wiggled off with a couple of screwdrivers, be careful not to damage the dust cover unless you have a replacement.

Do you mean the big dust shield ? I may need to run without or modify them anyway as I'm fitting 540 calipers and 312mm discs at the same timefixedwheelnut wrote: ↑Sat Jan 07, 2023 3:00 pmIt can get stuck but rarely too tight, it can usually be wiggled off with a couple of screwdrivers, be careful not to damage the dust cover unless you have a replacement.
