Need technical Q/A then you're in the right place

I am going to be installing led headlights to my car after watching loads of video's I thought it would be straight forward so ordered the led lights x4, I took my headlight units out and hit a block straight away so I presume I need pre facelift lights will they fit my face lift car

When I watched the videos you take off the silver ring to reveal 3 screws but mine are not sealed units and doesn't have the 3 screws to remove the old units

Do you mean the 3 screws that are visible after removing the grille that attach the actual lights to the car?

You can just see one of three screws that hold the sealed beem light in

Those units must be ancient, I've only ever seen the plastic frames.

Frankly I'd buy a set of Depo's and install Osram Nightbreaker Laser bulbs.

Tried, tested and great results - easy instal..blah blah

PFL chromies had metal frames and standard reflector headlights, it is when they went FL and elipsoid that the got plastic frames.

They are even more fun to work with when they have HLWW included :D Thats why many (including me) replaced them with Bosch smilies

I did this (mine are angel eyes) and they are superb.
And you can actually see the road as well. 8O 8O
