It’s with great regret I have to inform everyone that Pete Simon aka Sweep has passed away recently.
Sweep was an old skool zoner from the early days, who had a deep passion for all the classic cars and bikes alike.
There is an open invite to attend his funeral for anyone who knew him and would like to pay their respects. His funeral will be on the 30th December, in Sheffield. Anyone who wished to attend please message me or Phil Bilton for further details.
Samatha, Pete’s partner has expressed a wish for Pete to be accompanied by a procession of classic cars and bikes to his final resting place. If we could achieve this it would be a fitting tribute to the man we all knew and loved as “Sweep”.

Such sad news!
Pete was great and knowledgeable with a wealth of South Yorkshire mannerisms, spent many a day in his unit with Steve - Topless.
RIP Pete and thanks for the memories

This is really sad. Been buying stuff from Pete since 2008. Knew he’d been unwell a few years ago, but wasn’t aware of this.
RIP Pete
