I am going to fit my newly tuned injectors to my M20B25.

I'm sure Brian or someone posted an easy way to relieve the fuel pressure before disconnecting the pipes.

Anyone remember what it is?

Thanks
Ben

Doh! I really should have been able to work that out for myself!

Thanks, jimmyspeed.

Fuse 11.
Don't forget to put it back in afterwards!

Hi,

Not sure if it is considered bad practice here to "revive" old threads, but the topic matches...

How do I relieve fuel pressure if the car cannot currently be started? (No battery, fuse box, most looms).

1991 318i with M42 engine. Hasn't been started in months.

I found this older thread, where the car was not started for a week. viewtopic.php?f=2&t=198282&p=2168814#p2168814

Tried it on mine and no fuel sprayed out, all good :)

Get a big old rag and bendle it up next to the hose you disconnect, use it to soak up any fuel that spills, then you have the perfect item to clean any oily parts of the engine bay or the garage floor etc etc :)
