What tyre size??

Looking to run a set of 9jx17 et15 on my e30 cab. Whats best tyre size and would I need any spacers??

tyre size? i'd say about 215/40/17 unless you want massive stretch, as for spacers? i honestly don't know.
if it's got t*ts or wheels it's bound to be trouble...............prove me wrong.

Would I be able to go for 225 40 17 all round or would I have to do some adjustments??

could do but it might need the arches rolling depending on how low the car is.

To be honest you are going to be struggling with a 'normal' look tyre on a 9" wheel without body mods.
On the rear you can get a 245 in but you will need to roll the rest of the arch and get the offset mm prefect.
On the front 215 or maybe 225 , will depend on the tyre but on a 9" that will look stretched. That is why the tuners (Alpina etc) used staggered wheels.

Mine has got standard suspension atm. Will be looking to lower it at some point
