Hi mate hope you and the E30 going well ?

Just for general knowledge, the early PFL door cards had the hole on electric windows too, it was covered by a blanking cap. You could take the cap off and use the winder thing in the toolbox to manually wind the windows if needed.

They got rid of the hole on the later FL cars (with the different window lifter design) because there was nothing lining up with the hole anyway.

Hi & thanks for asking, all good here , I do hope the same for you. The car's off the road atm , nothing wrong its just I seem to have lost a little bit of interest but that could be said for other things as well . As you know I haven't a garage and although she still is virtually rust free ( I replaced the front foot well panels last year ) I know shes only going to deteriorate and she's too good for that. I have considered selling up as my creaky knees don't allow a lot of kerbside motors anymore (old age is becoming a bit of a pain ) Currently she needs the interior refitting which was removed to replace the heater matrix which burst unexpectedly last year . But other than that I'm more than confident she'll fly yet another MOT .
I was aware of the blanking plugs but thanks for filling in the gaps in my knowledge . Hows F . LBL doing , is she on the road yet ? Love to think she will be one day
