I have seen some lowering springs that lower the car 60mm, I want to run 17 or 16" wheels (unsure yet as I dont want wheels that every e30 has)
I need to change my front struts anyway but dont want to spend loads as my end game is air ride
Can anybody advise on best ride heights and makes of springs

When I first lowered my touring I went for a 40mm drop and instantly regretted it. The ride was horrible and it looked daft so I can only imagine what 60mm would be like. I settled on 30mm Eibach springs and they are perfect for me in terms of looks and ride quality.

Both mine are 40mm lowered , one on eibach with bilstein shocks and the other on Apex springs with Bilstein's happy with the ride on both and they go over the majority of speed bumps fine :)
