E30 convertible arch repair panels

Hi all

What are you guys using for repair panels. I've bought a couple off eBay now and I keep on ending up with the wrong ones, it says it will fit a preface lift convertible however they don't curve towards the rear as it does on the car.

The car's nearly ready to go to the body shop and I was trying to source some arches. I have these that the body worker can use bits off but I was wondering if there was anyone who made something with an exact fit to the curves of the car.

You could check to see if Valcas in Norway do these. On the other hand a good restorer can fabricate the arch or replace damaged sections.

It's true, cabby parts are a problem....best way is buy a good second hand wing and a repair section for the bottom piece which is usually shot, from Valcas Garage and fit as a finished unit...not sure if pre facelift fronts are available from BMW anymore, somehow doubt it as only right hand facelifts are at a stunning 600 quid ! and probably not original !

This was after speaking to them for a week and after 2 replacements. Lol
