Hi All,
Time of the year to renew the old insurance cover.
Who are you using for the best deal that also provide an agreed value?
Thanks.

Hi Mart. Yes.
I was insured with Lancaster. Their premium the renewal was double what they wanted last year.
I’ve just got it insured with Adrian Flux for £87. £15 more for the agreed valuation.

i pay about £300 a year through Lloyds for my 2.7 engine tech 2 sport, that's fully comp, no mileage limit, agreed value of minimum £25K, breakdown cover & all the bells & whistles.
it was by far the cheapest i could find.

Most insurers here deem that if you use your Bmw e30 as a daily driver then it is not a classic car in the real sense - it is being used like any car and any payout or claim is based on market value which is something like €1500. Classic insurance is only available for show cars where you have insurance for driving to and from car shows.

It’s obvious that they don’t need the business.
Give A Flux a go.

I'm with A-Plan for my E30 (and was for my 330d, until it was written off), and am very happy with them. It's underwritten (in my case) by Markerstudy, who were great when I had a small non-fault crash in the E30.
I think I pay something like £370 for a 2.8 325i Sport, with agreed value at something like £33k on a 5k mileage limit? If I don't declare the 2.8, it's a whoooole lot cheaper though (but not worth the risk, obvs.)

My mate said they're good though and being modified friendly this will help with the v8
