Hello all,

Lately I've been trying to do some research into whether BMW ever did a 15" inch 4 stud steel wheel for the E30, does anyone know?

I'm sure a 1992 E30 cabriolet I had years ago had a 4 stud 15 in the spare wheel but perhaps it wasn't a standard item or I'm just mistaken about the size. Real OEM says no 15 steel 4 stud so I think there wasn't, only 5 stud variety for E34 onwards etc.

Ideally I'm looking into getting a set of 15" steels for my E30 but using E34 hub cabs (the same design as the 14s). I've tried a few different makes (Honda/ Vauxhall) but the hubcaps don't fit right.

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!

Cheers
Billy

Have you tried Weller Wheels? They make Steelies for VW's etc so there ought to be something.

I don't know if the hubcaps will fit, but it might be worth trying VW wheels if you haven't already - they use 4x100 and nearly the same center bore. I have some G60s I used on my old Polo that bolt onto the E30...

The offsets of VW wheels will be wrong, they are usually around 20mm further into the arches

Thanks all.

I've tried so far...

Mini R50 steels
VW Golf 14"s (to check fit)
Vauxhall 15"s (noughties Corsa era)
Honda Jazz 15"s

All not quite right, offset wrong (too near to hubs) and hubcabs dont fit. Mini steels were nearest but still no good.
