Hi hoping everybody is having a great start of the year,I have been working on my interior lights today and the driver side does not work with the door open , only on the always on position, I tried cleaning all the contacts adjusting the pin switch, I am going crazy . One thing I noticed is the dirver side pin switch has two cables, one is green (that one is conected to the switch) and the other cable seems cut off, the color seem browinish. Is there something else I should check or could do? thanks to all

The wire from the Interior light to the door switch is either Brown/yellow stripe or Brown /Green stripe the other wire to the drivers door switch earths out a relay to give power to the electric windows when the door is open in case you forget to put them up :D

I finally figured it out in case it helps someone in the future, there are two wires connected to the pin switch at the drivers door, one (green is for the ignitionkey/seat belt warning) the brown/yellow one is for the interior dome light, actually broken on my car. Thanks for the help

Well done, the green wire also earths out a relay to allow you to operate the electric windows with the door open and ignition off :)
