Hello fellow E30 folk,
I am looking for just the front bumper carrier, as per item 8 in http://bmwfans.info/parts-catalog/E30-4 ... per_front/
It does not need to be perfect in any way, just not badly broken. Why? Because I will be removing my own full bumper so that I can refurbish it and have it painted. But I need something temporary to hold the indicators and number plate in place so that I can still drive the car. A price including postage to Gloucestershire would be great.
Many Thanks,
Chris

Hello akalair,
Many thanks for the offer, but I will decline. I have no need for full bumpers, as mine are only in need of a bit of TLC/prep before re-paint. There is no more room in my garage/sheds/Keter boxes/cupboards etc., for any more spare parts! So, I am still on the lookout for a used carrier/crash bar/backing bar or whatever other term is used, OEM 51118100572.
Thanks all,
Chris

Hello akalair,
Sorry for the late reply - I have been thinking about all this. If indeed you do have just the carrier (51118100572) then I think £30 would be a realistic amount? Thing is that I only need it for a few weeks and then you could have it back. I don't mind if I lose money doing this; it makes it convenient to continue using the car while the body-shop paints my own bumper. Does that make sense?
Thanks,
Chris
