I'm about to get my 370mm tec 1 wheel retrimmed by Royal Steering Wheels. Its the same price for black or tri coloured stitching.

What peoples opinions of tri coloured on a non mtec car
It's going on a chromie convertible.

If you're keeping the car for you and not worried about absolute OEM authenticity - all a matter of personal taste.

Given you've got a chromie convertible - sounds like you have good taste.

FWIW I have tri-colour stitching on my Sport wheel in a non-mTech chromie convertible:

This is what's in my standard chromie convertible. It's worth an additional 10bhp at least.

What price have your been quoted for retrimming the wheel, please?

Thanks.

For those that might be interested, for an OEM wheel - no fancy stitching, just black like the original wheel trim will have been, the price is £170.00

Cheers.

I think with the tech 1 wheel already having the 3 stripes, the coloured stitching is a little too far for me - but everyone should do what they want! If you think it looks cool go for it
