Tyres all have loads of tread, but are so old they have no grip in the wet. Therefore they are free and form no part of the sale, other than to protect the rims.
History - yawn - I bought this set in 2003 just after I bought the car - I know this as I bought the Goodyears, which have a datestamp of 2003
They are straight and run true. Car was always garaged, there is no corrosion, but a few minor kerbing marks along the rim edges, most from before I bought them.
Centrecaps all have genuine BMW 3M metal? logos. I bought from BMW and I put them on. Centrecap locking pieces have all the pins/lugs intact.
The only thing that detracts from their appearance is a layer of lacquer that I sprayed on in 2003 - looked fantastic and water/dirt just fell off, but now it has yellowed and crazed. You can pick it off with your fingernail, but it would take a while
As far as I know, they have not been refurbed, and that isn't a layer of rattle-can silver on the inside face of the wheels - the condition really is as good as it looks.
Collection from Sussex. I don't want to post them.
Sorry no swops - I have too many wheels.
