Finally made it

Finally picked up an e30 318i auto as a winter project. My BMW history:
Dad’s e34 518i
E46 320d sport saloon
E46 320d touring
E36 323i coupe
F36 420d m sport gran coupe
E53 X5 3.0d sport
E36/7 Z3 1.9i
E46 M3 Coupe
E46 328i coupe
E30 318i saloon

But not all at the same time.

Hoping that most of the restoration work is fairly straightforward although it never works out that way, still have nightmares about changing the wishbones on the z3 and trying to crack the drivers side ball joints…

Anyway if anyone can help or point me in the right direction, after fixing a few obvious electrical problems I’m stuck with brake lights that are on whwnever the cars running, interior lights that come on when any doors except the drivers are opened and window switches that light on and off exactly as expected as of the drivers door pin is fine.

They may be separate or linked issues, any ideas?
