Hello everyone, got

Finally, after all those years of searching got me an 89 316 Baur TC.

This was bought online 8O, luckily all as described, almost rust free, clean body, only front seats needs some attention.

I would like to say a big thank you to all here as I was able to sort a few small things from the wiki page :)

If someone could just confirm a couple of things on this car.

VIN shows as M40 engine - confirmed by mechanic it is M10 :?:

Anyone knows about these body mods, I have a Hartge sticker on the driver's side, but I couldn't find any information that Hartge did wide body modifications. The rear wing has a Hartge badge too.

Thank you all :)

Welcome! I'm not seeing anything Hartge on your car and they certainly didn't do a wide body kit. It's definitely different, I kind of like it. I think!

Thanks, I'm a bit bamboozled about the Hartge :D :D :D

There is a sticker that goes through the driver's side door all the way to the back of the car with Hartge written on it(could be fake), you can see that in the first picture.

Hartge did do stripes but they don't look like yours, I don't think they're genuine.

Welcome to the zone mate and I agree with the above, I have seen just one wide body before and it was crap to say the least, not a patch on yours. I love the wheels and the colour too, not enough pics for me though !! winkeye

89 year car should have M40 engine but your mechanic says M10! A photo of the engine bay would confirm if it is M10 or M40.

Are you planning on keeping the arch flares? They'd look a lot better blended and filled.
