I wanna wire up my electric hood flap and can't figure out how to do it. I would prefer to have a switch like a window switch mounted in the rear speaker panel. So one button for up and one for down.

The flap motor has two inputs. I can put power to one side and earth to the other it will move one way and swap them to go the other way. What would I need to do to make this work?

A window or roof switch will do this, as long as the current drawn by the roof motor isn't too much. Exactly the same wiring as for a window.
