You lucky devil, a choice between a cracking E30 and a ho-hum plastic spastic. E30 every time and if 'er in doors doesn't like it, tell her to by her own. (my wife has her own Corsa Sport)

The e46 is one hell of a car and will soon turn into a classic in it`s own right as it`s touching 18 years old now.

You can and should, I did it in 1999 (Sept) and I have never looked back- It is just a case of being a bit selfish and having the bottle to say, " lets go". It is scary and complicated for the first couple of months but it soon passes and life is great.

You are not young and not too old then, same as me at 59 when I moved to Marbella, perfect time as you will very soon, sooner than you think, will be one of the "old" people too and it will be too late and in the "If only I had" group.
25c all year sound perfect. it can get a bit hot in the summer here, up to 42c but excellent health care, great beaches and night life. etc, schools are great too.
Of course Brexit has buggered a lot up and made life difficult for everyone but still worth it.
