I’ve never changed my gearbox or diff oil. Can someone tell me what grads of oil I need,I think it’s LSD diff if that makes any difference ? also manual gearbox.

Use this for your LSD
Syntrax Limited-slip SAE 75W-140
and I use Redline MTL in my box
Whatever you do, open the inlet ( higher up ) access points on the gearbox and diff BEFORE draining any fluid. The gearbox threads can be a real bastard...especially the dryer upper one.

Filling the gearbox is a bugger unless you have pressure pump and long tube...I attached a long clear plastic pipe to a 1 litre bottle that has a nipple for a filling pipe...then squeeze the oil into the box...messy and awkward....you really need the right kit.
You also need the right hex key to open the bungs..and there's not much room around the box filler area.
I've never tried going in from the inside of the car which is possible I guess.

I bought something like this for an oil change on another car, so not sure if it's long enough to reach the E30, but it's made life soooo much easier on a couple of gearbox oil changes recently.

That's the thing - but yes you may need a longer tube... makes short work of a refill.
