My maplight mirror grub screw (the one that braces against the windscreen to reduce vibration in the heavier mirro) appears to have gone missing - and looking at ETK it doesn't appear to be a separate piece.

Any ideas where I could source a replacement?

I have one in mine I'll measure for you, could make one if none are available

If you have no luck then I must be able to lay my hands on some at work.

It's this part here around the back - more of a hollow plastic "screw"

Wishing I had a workshop to knock something up!

I had a look at mine and the part you have circled in your pic doesn't actually exist..... Did they revise the design at some point?

I would be interested in purchasing one of these screws as mine has cracked mostly all the way through and now fails to do it's job thus rendering the mirror mostly useless at speed. It does however make the car feel like I'm going warp speed.

Very good!  Yes. I have got a convertible. When I install the maplight mirror, I simply replaced the mirror part. I will check to see if I kept hold of the hanging bracket tonight.
