Now, is it possible to fit the bigger ,longer car battery into the front of my 316.
I have a chance of a god one for a great price but dont know if it would squeeze in there.
I would like to pop it in to the boot but that will have to wait, so what do you think ?

A quick measurement and it looks like @300mm .Cloggy Saint wrote: ↑Fri Oct 01, 2021 4:57 pmHow big is bigger? Maximum size that'll fit in the tray is around 278L x 175W x 190H.
I had a look at the big big bosch on my e46 cab and it looks like it will fit but I really dont want to disturb it as it is running shit hot !

The bigger ones were too big so I bought this and will relegate the Bosch to the wife`s polo which her battery has been in at least six years to our knowledge.
