Hi All,

I'm Madara and I've just bought a rough old 318is rolling shell/project car with a plan to turn it into a targa/historic rally car, hopefully in time for 2021.

The old girl is a 1990/H and is finished in Diamondschwarz. She has definitely seen better days, but hopefully I can get her back to something approaching her former glories - she was last on the road in 2009. Since then it appears some sort of restoration was commenced by a previous owner but stopped for whatever reason and now she is my problem!

Anyway I'll start a project thread as I'm in need of a lot of advice (and a lot of miscellaneous parts)! My rough plan is to get the chassis/bodywork sorted whilst the weather is good and in the meantime find a 318TI donor car for engine, box, diff and maybe suspension and brakes too.
