Hello.
Many moons ago I used this forum and have now rejoined.
I’ve got my low mileage 316i auto in 2009 and have recently got it restored to near ‘day 1’ oem standard.
Still one of the smoothest (but not the quickest) cars I own. Did think about selling it but have decided to keep it unless I get a silly offer.
Hope everyone is well and enjoying their e30’s in this the last throws of summer…
Cheers
Kit

Yes, it’s always had a time warp feel to it, when I got it it had 1 owner and 33k on the clock, it’s currently on 62k after being used a lot to start with and less in the last 5 years.
The drive feels smoother and more comfortable than most modern cars (helped by the small rims and taller tyres I know) yet it still feels very agile on turn in, often wish my e34 touring was rack and pinion.
Not a sort after 6 cylinder but it has a leisurely charm of its own, it even smells new!

Welcome to the zone mate and what a lovely car you have there
I get what you mean about not being a trail buster, I chose my 316 M10B18 Weber to cut down on engine issues .(I do have an e46 325 for the other stuff)
Mart.
