Just wondering if anyone knows if it's possible to 'unclip' the hooks for the dog cover.
They move back and forward a little, and I've given them a 'reasonably gentle' tug, but they don't come out.

Just wanting to know if I can fully remove them to tidy up and then powder coat, or if I need to do a lot of masking.
Touring Dog Cover refurbishment - help needed?

the cover should just push down then roll the top part towards you/rear and lift out.

Having never heard of ratcheds and dog covers-- I have to reconsider how much I know about e30's.

It's this, you must have seen one! Officially it's a luggage net to stop piled up stuff flying into the cabin.
I guess the part in question are the clips at the top right and left of the pic? No idea if they come out, never tried! It wouldn't be too hard to mask off the netted area for a bit of paint though.

Thank you Cloggy Saint for that. I have seen those. Hardly designed to stop a dog from coming through though but maybe it is.
