Our local Tesco has 99 but the Sainsbury’s hasn’t got super. I’ve been meaning to go in and see if it’s something they can do as they have 6 pumps there.

I use Esso Supreme+99 which in my area has no ethanol but it does cost more.

According to a “is e10 safe list for xx car” all Bmw engines are fine.

I have also heard that the carb cars can be effected, to what degree I`m not sure, but for the small amount of price difference E5 it is for me too.
My E46 325 responds better and I have a 15% -20% gain in MPG too when I use Shell V-Tech or higher octane fuels.

With carb engine the float if it has any soldered joins then yes. Also some plastic floats as well as I have read somewhere. With carb engines they usually have mechanical fuel pumps so diaphragms possibly .martauto wrote: ↑Thu Sep 02, 2021 3:02 pmI have also heard that the carb cars can be effected, to what degree I`m not sure, but for the small amount of price difference E5 it is for me too.

I am not sure about the E10 checker site as most of the BMWs are fuel injected with only a handful of carb cars around.

Yes, unless it is a carb engine, (and then AFAIK it depends on which carb) the injected ones should be fine.
As I said above putting any petrol into 30 year old pipes is asking for an engine fire, E10, E5 or E0 will burn just as well
