Hello everyone,
I am getting my trailing arm bushes replaced and would like to know what the difference and subsequent pros/cons are of fitting the eccentric ones as mentioned in the wiki's list of bushes as there is quite a large difference in price.
The part numbers are 33329058822 for the eccentric and 33329061945 for the standard.
The car is a daily but my priority is performance and have poly subframe and diff mounts, offset lower control arm lollipop bushes and when I can afford new suspension will be going with the B12 kit or Bilstein Rennen.
Thanks

Did you ever find an answer to the query about the eccentric trailing arm bushes?

Its best to not use eccentric in that location, there is always the chance the bush can move and ruin your geo settings. I use Superflex brand poly for trailing arms, very well made bushes much better than the likes of powerflex etc

Thanks Dan. Was just looking at using standard bushes for replacement. Are there any reputable aftermarket manufacturers or should i go to BMW? I'll also be doing subframe, diff and arb bushes.

Superflex make top quality poly bushes, trailing arms and ARB are fine with poly, but for a road car you dont want poly in the subframe/diff/wishbones/topmounts, use either BMW or Lemforder rubber bushes
