When rebuilding my car before I bought some what were advertised as 1990 318is injectors, when I got them they were a different colour top bit, they were blue originals were yellowy orange. Now I need to buy new hoses iv decided now I'll ask in here to double check.
The car is a 1991 318is btw
Did IS injectors change colour

The iS always had the yellow Bosch injectors. My recommendation if the car isn't a daily would be send those back, remove the ones on the car (the correct yellow ones) and send them to Injector Tune. They'll service them and they'll come back like new.

I removed the injectors and we'll the ends only went and fell in the hole where the valves live, now what would happen if I can get them out ?
Would they melt and the fumes will blow them away or what ?
It's on 2 of the cylinders? Like I tried for 2 hours using a screwdriver with no luck. I don't wanna be taking the head off again.
The injectors basically fell apart as k was removing them
Btw the fumes blowing them out was a joke

How wide is the hole they fell through ??
Is it wide enough to fit some plastic tubing in? ,if so, connect the tubing to a household hoover (cant spell vacuum) via gaffer tape and see if you can not suck them up but hold on to them so you can retrieve them ?
A very long shot but ...............................................
Mart.
