Hi mate the clips broke on mine too. It is possible to repair them. I heated some steel wire and pressed it into the broken area, and then formed epoxy putty around that to recreate the broken bit. Works fine.

Just checked and mine is from a 14" wheel so you will need to swap over the black plastic piece from your current center cap (on the right in the photo) and reinsert the wire clip. Also missing is the piece from the middle of the hex nut that the BMW badge sticks to - again this is the same as 15" wheels so swap it from your damaged one.

Here's a pic of the center piece showing the three prongs that lock it in place are not broken,

Thanks for the replies
I need at least 3! I might have a whack at repairing them and if I can’t do it or give up I’ll try buy some. Thanks

I can send pics of the clips so you can check for damage. These are getting pretty hard to find now and AFAIK are not available new from BMW although there are some rough looking 3D printed ones on Ebay. Shall we say £70 each?

These are 2 separate ones. I think it’s the grey plastic bits that have snapped off that push the black clips out to provide a good contact with the wheel hole

Yeah happened with mine. You got a welder? See the metal ring around the top? Reckon you I could just weld a blob onto that and it'll do the same thing and not break. Obvs take the ring off first!Ozbear wrote: ↑Wed Aug 25, 2021 10:52 amThese are 2 separate ones.
