Right guys..
As many of you probably know I'm new to working on cars and recently doing the cam belt has given me confidence to tackle my suspension...
I've put together a list of parts and tools that I think need refreshing. There are a few bits on the list non suspension related but am gonna do while having access.

Any other bits not on the list you reckon I should be doing? Any tools I've missed? What's the difficulty in dropping the subframe?

Here's the list...

Tools:
Ball joint separator
Pry bar
Spring compressor
E30 rtab removal tool

Parts:
B12 pro kit
Top mounts
Subframe bushes
Rear trailing arm bushes
Front Strut Mounts
Rear Shock Mounts
Bump Stops
Rear Shock Boots
Front Control Arm Bushings
Front Control Arm Ball Joints
Front and Rear Sway Bar End Links
Strut/Shock Mounting Nuts/Bolts
Front and Rear Spring Retaining Pads
Differential bushings
Diff mounts
Diff seal

Are your tie rods up to scratch?
Would hate to do all this good work and have the steering let you down:

I have E36 +E46 ones on the shelf (forget which ones inners / outers) for my eventual purple tag swap so I may do the swap when I do the suspension but hopefully danthe can help me with that.

the hardest part of dropping the rear subframe can be getting the bolts out the body after you've dropped the subframe, also the bushes can be a pain to remove so get a blow torch on the list as burning the old rubber ones out works best,

one thing on the list i would change is the front ARB drop links, i used the rear rose jointed ones from a mk3 mondeo estate,

also, the diff bush, are you using a rubber one? needs to be pressed out & new one pressed in, or a poly one? a poly one comes in 2 parts & is pretty easy to fit.
if it's got t*ts or wheels it's bound to be trouble...............prove me wrong.

Poly, can I burn the old diff one out you reckon? Or would I need to remove diff from the car

you can burn the main part (rubber) out the diff mount, take the back plate off (cover your nose as the old oil stinks) burn the rubber out then put a chink in the metal ring thats left & prise it out.
