Hi all.

I am in the process of renovating a 1983 E30, When i bought this, the dash had been taken out including the clock. Have got a dash, clock and the bits however, all the wiring seems to be messed up.

On the back of my clock, i have the blue clip and yellow. The blue is connected to the loom and plugs in fine, the Yellow clip is there but the wires coming off it are not connected to anything. Can some one please help me with where they should connect to?

I have tried to read to the wiring diagrams but it shows the rear of the cluster and the C3 Yellow pin but don't know where the wires go from there.

I have many more hurdles to pass but trying to take one thing at a time - small steps.

Thank you in advance.

The cable from the yellow plug is connected to the OBC as well as the chime and temperature sensor .
This link may help.

Thanks guys.. I’ve also just bought the Haynes manual to read through.

Just tried to upload pictures on my phone but doesn’t work?
Will transfer to my laptop and upload. It’s a mess at the moment, bought a shell which I want to make right.
